Look mama "brother"!!.. She came  to me and show her very first drawing!! And then she draw herself as well!!  :)

Crafty Arabic !!

In order to make our learning arabic more fun and intresting. .we craft different things and Google them out what we say it in arabic!!

Now, Manha asked me often about different things that mama what we called this in arabic! It makes me glad because I want her  to create love of learning for arabic!

Allah made everything! !

"Allah - Al khaliq" was the theme of the day!. We craft a book about Allah..

In which  manha was introduced the term "Al- Khaliq - the creator".  The activity  was throughly enjoyed by manha!

It was holistic  approch activity where she not only learn about Allah but also did painting, cutting pasting plus explore arabic terms of the things she made!!

We read  two books regarding Allah. One was "Allah gaves us food" by goodword kidz and the other one was "Hudhayfa learns about Allah" by Umm An - Numan!

 Also we listen our all time favourite  Nasheed "Allah made everything"  by Zain Bikha!

We also revised  our activity by singing  an urdu poem.."Kis nai banaya phoolon  ko..Allah nai banana ..." we had our own  version of this poem by using arabic words  of the thing we made!..kis bai banaya tuffha (apple)  ko...

Anyhow, she was ver happy to make her own book...and discussing about Allah more often!!

Homemade play dough!

Our very first homemade play  dough!

It's quick and easy.

Recipie :

1 cup flour
1/3 cup salt
1 Tsp oil
1  Tsp créame of tartar
Pinch of  food color
Half cup warm water

Fruits and Vegetables Basket!

Playing with colors is her all time favourite..so here we do some new activity..Mama cut out the fruits and vegetables out of thermapole i.e was something new for her and manha paint them..

She also explores to make secondary colors from primary colors

Story of "Feel" and "Ababeel"!

As we are good enough in making stories ..we craft a new story " Feel and the Ababeel".

Manha really enjoyed making elephants and the whole story of Surah Feel! Through this she got to know the terms in arabic for the elephant and the bird..this makes much easy for me to make her explore arabic vocabulary rather than make her learn through books..now she often point me out in arabic whenever she come across elephant and birds in her surrounding!

Story Time!

Manha's mama is always very bad at making stories! Tried many times times..but never come up with some good moral stories!

Then inspired by some other muslim mommies, I tried to simplify  the islamic incidents and prophets stories to her!
And  by astonishment  she not only grasp it but enjoyed it tooo...and asked me to tell her story again and again..

Our first story telling was of  Prophet Yunus and the Big whale!

We make it more creative and crafty..so  it was more fun Alahamdulillah!!

Painting time!

After exposure to painting at Kidz Dunya, we started painting at home! She enjoy playing with colors!
